Description

The setting is 18th century Venice, and the leading character, the wily Truffaldino, decides that the only way to survive during difficult economic times is to get two jobs. He becomes servant to two masters, but he cannot let either master know that he owes allegiance to another. What results is a fast-paced comedy filled with intrigues, disguises, mistaken identities and even romance. This zany delight has been entertaining audiences around the world for almost 300 years.

California Theatre Center (CTC), Sunnyvale's resident, professional, repertory company, presents its popular Summer Rep Series in June and July at the Sunnyvale Community Center.
The CTC Summer Rep series offers a professional, resident company of talented actors in an exciting rotating repertory format, at less than local "amateur theatre" prices! Patrons often comment how entertaining it is to see their favorite CTC actors in several different roles in different plays during a very short period of time. The talent, versatility and dexterity of CTC's actors and the ensemble approach to creating theatre are showcased in Summer Rep.
