Fans of the Rolling Stones will not want to miss this one night only screening of "The Rolling Stones: Some Girls, Live in Texas" on August 16.Recorded Live at Will Rogers Memorial Center of Fort Worth, Texas in 1978, the movie captures the Rolling Stones back in their hayday, touring with songs from their recent album at the time, "Some Girls," which helped revitalize the band by mixing in the sounds of punk, new wave, disco with their usual sounds of r&b, blues, country. This concert shows how amazing the Rolling Stones are, and how important music was to the 70s generation.
The movie has been upgraded to high definition with a 5.1 audio track. It opens with an interview with Rolling Stones and Rock legend Mick Jagger, who introduces the concert and talks about why this concert in particular is an important one in the bands history.
Tickets will be 10 dollars. Students with I.D. pay 7 dollars.
