* What?: Bring your rockin, sexy, bad ass self and all your rockin, sexy, bad ass friends, oh and don’t forget your rock star oufit (or your long hair, or your glam singlet, your punk outfit, inflatable guitar!)
Rider List
* You will be walking a lot. So Rock Star boots are fine, but keep in mind you will be in them for a while!
* Leave No Trace! - This is the inaugural Rock Con event and we want to have many more.
You can act like a Rock Star without being a Prima Donna...
No Diva's in this crowd... Rockers take care of their own...
* This ain't no hotel room - SO pick up all your own trash...!
* The Rock Con is not responsible for your actions and in no way can be held liable for anything you do in public.
* If you are caught with alcohol by SF's finest in blue, you are on your own... BE RESPONSIBLE!
* You will be purchasing your own drinks at the various bars... there is no tab... so BRING CASH to make the bar staff happy
Schedule
Soundcheck - 12:30 - 1:00 pm
The Rock Con will begin staging downtown at a venue near Union Sq. We would like all participants to arrive by 1:00pm so we can start the crawl. Please be dressed and ready to rock!
Tour Leg 1 - Downtown 1:00pm - 3:00pm
The first leg of the tour will consist of walking from the staging area bar to Union Square. We will travel through the square with music rocking and make our way down Powell St. to Market. Feel free to grab drink at any fine establishment you see along the way.
From Powell and Market we will make our way towards Civic Center for a group photo at 2:30 near City Hall - be prepared to rock!
From Civic Center we will walk through Hayes Valley, stopping for quick drinks here at a super sweet spot...
The tour leg continues to an official venue around the corner...
Venue Performance - 3:00pm - 5:00pm
The second of our main venues will be a rawkus event. A full on Rock n Roll dj set by one of the city's most versatile dj's and an official performance zone for those of you who wish to perform!
This is a good place for your friends to catch up with you. We will be here awhile, so there will be ample time to have some fun with your groupies and tie one on...
Tour Leg 2 - Mission 5:00pm - 7:00pm
This leg of the tour will bring out the true star in you. No other place in the city has such a concentration of rock bars as does the mission. We will try to hit all the bars on the Block of Rock!!! But be prepped - they don't know we are coming... a true underground show...
Venue Performance - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
There is no finer dive bar in the city than this place... and they know how to do it right. Another official performance zone, this place brings the true Rock Gods out of the woodwork...
Tour Leg 3 - 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Take some time to get to know the bars you never go to. This final leg of the tour is more of a free for all in the neighborhood.
You can rock out with your friends or find a special hole in the wall to kiss your biggest fan. We don't care, just do it in style!
Final Venue Performance / After Party - 9:00pm - 12:00am
That's right Rock Stars- this final venue is the newest in town, an intimate place opened by a close friend of the management. Here we go out with a bang. The guitars will be blazing for anyone who wants to do one final set.
Super After After Party - 12am - 5am
While not a true Rock Con event - we suggest a good way to recover from your rock n roll lifestyle is to go dancing... And there is no-one in our opinion who can get you to move your feet better than The Plump DJ's... at Mezzanine, tickets here... Do It!!! We are all going in our Rock Outfits!!!
