Tricycle Records proudly presents: The Red Verse (previously The Reverse) CD Release Party at Cafe DuNord, Thursday June 5th. Joining the bill are Murder of Lilies and The Snobs with guest Dj's Luisa Black (The Blacks) and DJ Otterpop. $10.00 cover. Doors at 8:30/ Show at 9:00.The Red Verse combine old country influences with a modern pop aesthetic. Former members of Beulah (Danny Sullivan) and Every Move A Picture (Allen Davis) join forces with emerging new songwriter/frontman Alex Oneil and Andrew Galluccio to form this new Bay Area four piece. 'Like watching The Edge play guitar for Jonathon Richman' , The Reverse successfully blend the old sun records sound with fresh new wave post punk guitar. This show celebrates their debut release "No Chance for Romance" out on Tricycle Records August 15th.
