Fresh on the heels of Billy Idol's sold out show at San Jose's hottest new music venue, Rockbar Theater, comes "Another Lonely Christmas featuring The Purple Ones, A 10-Piece Tribute to Prince plus Special Guest" on December 19th.

Besides Another Lonely Christmas, TPO celebrates the season with hit after hit from A sides to B sides and other classics such as Little Red Corvette, 1999, I Feel for You, Controversy, Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Lets Go Crazy, along with many lively Prince staples, without forgetting the well-loved Prince/Sheila E tunes.

About THE PURPLE ONES
Formed in April 2012 The Purple Ones pay homage to one of the most well known musicians spanning over multiple decades, the incredible songwriting, musicianship and over the top legendary performances of The Purple One himself...PRINCE. With 25 studio albums, over 100 million albums sold worldwide and endless awards won, Prince recently gained the 2013 Billboard Icon Award.

From Oakland CA, TPO is the brainchild of Morty Okin (former co-founder/manager/trumpet of MJ tribute Foreverland, former co-founder of Neil Diamond tribute Superdiamond), and Roger Rocha (Lead guitar of 4 Non Blondes, The Goldenhearts)

The Purple Ones has taken the Bay Area, CA by storm packing crowds into SF's classic venues such as Bimbos 365 Club, Slims, Red Devil Lounge, Cafe DuNord, Oakland's The New Parish and The Uptown, San Jose's The Blank Club, Redwood City's Club Fox, Sacramento's Harlow's, Fresno's Fulton 55, Santa Cruz's Don Quixotes International Music Hall and Walnut Creek's Dans Bar to name a few. In addition, TPO has also performed at many summer concert series and fair & festivals. In October 2013, TPO was asked to perform at the highly acclaimed Bay Area's Treasure Island Music Festival on the sidestage. The festival is put on by Another Planet/Noisepop Productions.

This all star Bay Area band features top notch musicians of current and former staple bands such as The New Morty Show, 4 Non Blondes, 2014 Grammy-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra, Huey Lewis and The News, Latin jazz giant The John Santos Sextet, Foreverland, Superdiamond, Casino Royale, Joshua Cook and The Key of Now, and more.

The band is comprised of 4 horns, 2 guitars, keyboards, drums and fronted by the uncanny voice of Kazam Ali (Lead Vocals/Electric Bass) and Pamela Fields (Lead Vocals).

Party like its 1999 with bandmembers as they faithfully power though hit after hit from A sides to B sides and deep cuts with classics such as Little Red Corvette, 1999, I Feel for You, I Would Die 4 U, Controversy, It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night, Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Lets Go Crazy, as well as Prince staples Darling Nikki, Computer Blue, Dirty Mind and so many more including Morris Day and The Time's The Bird and Jungle Love.
