Description

“Mala” is the Sanskrit word for “rosary”, which is a string of beads with which we can count prayers or recite mantras, and is regarded as very precious by Buddhist practitioners. Buddhist teacher Maxine Wright will show us how to make a mala, bless it, and use the mala to recite prayers or mantras. Bring your own beads or purchase them in our shop.

Schedule: 10:30am-2:00pm with a hearty snack provided from 12:00-12:30pm

Price: $20; beads to purchase are at extra cost
