MENLO PARK, Calif. -- The Portola Art Gallery presents “The Philippines in Photos: From Mountains to the Sea” by Frances Freyberg.

The vibrant color photographs feature landscapes, city scenes, florals and portraits from Freyberg’s travels through the Philippines. Highlights include the 2,000-year-old rice terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras; the Salakayan Festival of Miagao; and the beautiful turquoise waters of Palawan.

In addition to signed and framed photographs, there will also be a variety of photo cards for sale.

Freyberg traveled through the Philippines in February 2014 with her mother, Menlo Park resident Susan Freyberg, who was born and raised in Iloilo.

Frances Freyberg of Menlo Park specializes in portraits of people, wildlife, nature and architecture from her travels to more than 60 countries.
