Description

On Friday, March 1, 2013, the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts invites you to the exhibition opening of The Order of Things: Cinematic Moments, curated by A. Will Brown from the collection of Kadist Art Foundation.

Using the artist, John Miller's book, Cinematic Moments as a jumping off point, the exhibition juxtaposes artworks as individual parts in a mise-en-scène to explore the three parts of cinematic production - "pre-production," "production," and "post-production" - and the role of the passage of time in filmmaking.

Participating Artists:
Mauricio Ancalmo, Erick Beltrán, David Berezin, Yoan Capote, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Nathaniel Dorsky, Haris Epaminonda, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Charles Gaines, Ryan Gander, Loris Gréaud, Jiří Kovanda, Benoît Maire, Koki Tanaka, Ian Wallace, Haegue Yang

Join us from 6:00-8:00pm
Friday, March 1st
