Description
Two Bands, One Family, brought together by the "New American Dream."Take Blvd Park, Spaghetti-Western-Desert-Folk (Seattle, WA) and Musical Charis, Fun-Dr. Suessical-Harmonic-Folk-Rock (Sacramento, CA) and you've got yourself a Circus Car Cabaret full of musicians ready to bring that good ol' time. Call it a Vaudville variety act if you will. Between the two groups, enjoy an evening of soulful male/female harmonies, catchy dance numbers, Pub sing-a-longs, and fabulous musicianship compliments of crunchy electric guitars, synths, xylophones, tambourines, a trumpet, a mandolin and more. The chemistry between the two groups is undeniable as they have performed countless shows together and even put out a split disc in the summer of 2010 appropriately titled "Ketchup and Mustard." You'll often see members of the other band jump on stage to participate in a song or two, keeping with the family-style vibe of the tour. This eclectic group of individuals has ignited an artistic revolution in which the outcome is not only a toe-tappin', booty-shakin' good time, but the ability to encourage audiences to embrace the arts as an everyday part of life. Throughout the instabilities of our world, one thing remains constant, the need for creativity and expression and that's what the New American Dream Tour will bring.
