Description
Moe's Alley welcomes the Mother Hips to its stage, straight from the San Francisco Bay Area. This indie alternative folk-rock band formed in 1990, releasing their first album Back to the Grotto in 1993. After several critically acclaimed albums, The Mother Hips gained widespread exposure in 2007 when their track "Time We Had" from their album Kiss the Crystal Flake was featured in the game Rock Band. Since 2009, The Mother Hips have co-curated Hipnic, a psych-rock and folk concert series nestled in the redwoods of the Big Sur Valley, which has showcased some of California's most popular indie bands.
