Join the National Council on Crime and Delinquency as we celebrate the nation’s best journalists working on justice system, child welfare, and adult protection issues. NCCD’s Media for a Just Society Awards will honor Ryan Coogler, writer/director of the acclaimed film "Fruitvale Station".Join us for hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and celebration. Guests in attendance will include Piper Kerman, author of "Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison", and Keynote Speaker Sonja Sohn of HBO's "The Wire".
