The Mark of Great Art event, featuring artwork by Kentucky artists, will be exhibited at the Presidio Golf Club on Wednesday, October 1st from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Visit TheMarkOfGreatArt.com for more information.For one night only, San Franciscans will be able to view a truly unique collection of art. On Wednesday, October 1, the Presidio Golf Club will host a collection of pieces inspired by an idyllic setting in central Kentucky and the seventh-generation family business nestled there.
The first annual “Mark of Great Art” competition, open only to Kentucky artists, features all types of art, including oils, watercolors, sculptures, wood, textile, metal, photography, video and jewelry. The collection has been showing at the quaint Maker’s Mark distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, which served as the artists’ inspiration. Portions of the exhibit are now being dispersed for one-day shows around the world.
