Description
The San Jose Jazz Showcase features some of the best jazz students of the Bay in a special concert on March 21 at City Lights Theater Company. The San Jose Jazz High School Big Band and Latin Band are advanced jazz ensembles comprised of the Bay Area's most talented High School jazz musicians.The Big Band ensemble is taught by Naoki Taniguchi, a San Jose native who has worked with jazz greats and rock luminaries from across the country. The High School Latin Band is led by longtime jazz teacher Dave Gregoric.
