...not that it was missing, necessarily. It's just that this month we've got an extra dose of the good stuff waiting for you at The Lit Slam. We've got a thrilling and gorgeous venue, an eternally charming cast of characters hosting the show, and some of the finest literary work in town.

The Lit Slam is a live performance-curated poetry publication where the audience serves as the Editors for a brand-new, highly competitive literary journal. First place gets published. If you haven't seen Gypsee Yo perform live yet, please let us help you get your life right with the National Poetry Month installment of The Lit Slam. She is a beacon and a demolition team and the World's Largest Hope Hot Springs, all rolled up in one. Listening to her poems live is like swallowing a constellation. And as it stands, The Lit Slam's poetry competition is becoming the absolute hottest in town. Our journal has local luminaries like Josh Merchant, James Cagney, Katelyn Lucas, and Sam Sax--not to mention poetry contributions from each of our nationally recognized features.
