Michael Tilson Thomas calls The Klez-X “extraordinary” for a masterful and imaginative combination of Klezmer music, Yiddish folk and art song and modern jazz that renders a brilliantly original sound. The group boasts an all-star roster of highly versatile and innovative musicians led by violinist and composer Daniel Hoffman, and featuring Sheldon Brown, Jeanette Lewicki, Alan Hall, Richard Saunders, Stephen Saxon and trombonist Charlie Seavey.
