Description
Each week, The International Culinary Center hosts its newest recreational classes, a Food and Wine Pairing Series composed of wine tasting seminars and tutored pairing dinners. During the month of August, we highlight wines from Sonoma County.August 27: Flavorful, Intense Wines
With special guest founder Dan Kosta
Learn the principles of wine and food pairing in a short lecture led by International Culinary Center Master Sommelier Roland Micu. Also, discover what sets Kosta Browne wines apart as you taste through a few of their acclaimed wines while Dan Kosta explains how they guide each vineyard to its optimum flavor potential. Afterward, proceed to The International Culinary Center's private dining
room—the Monte Bello. You'll enjoy a three-course wine pairing dinner, prepared by our students, while Roland and Dan discuss each of their handpicked wine selections.
Kosta Browne’s single-vineyard wines are blended to express the specific qualities and consistencies of their pedigreed vineyards. Pinot noir is the perfect palate to define the terroir of these plantings. The winery offers two appellation wines, Sonoma Coast and Russian River. These wines are blended to represent the best of their vineyards in each specific appellation. Quality is of utmost importance with these blends.
