Description
Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra welcomes back Jordi Savall to conduct The French Suite in Europe, a collection of French Baroque music, featuring selections by Lully, Telemann, Dumanoir, and Handel.Lully's Suite d'Alceste opens the evening, telling the story of a bride who is abducted by a former suitor, and ballet music by violinist Guillame Dumanoir. The second half of the show will showcase German composers Telemann and Handel.
