Description

Some people know the region of Emilia Romagna as being the most affluent region in Italy and the home of Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini. Foodies know it for being the gastronomic heartland of Italy, with other riches such as Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiana Reggiano, Aceto Balsamico, and the Mortadella of Bologna. Natives are known to be great gourmets and hearty eaters. Malcolm will pay tribute to the Emiliana and the Romagnoli by recreating dishes such as Potato and Goat Cheese Soup with Truffle Oil; Brodetta alla Romagnola (fish soup from the Adriatic coast); Sugo all Bolognese with home-made pasta; Mortadella-Stuffed Pork Loin with Rosemary Potatoes; and Cinnamon-Apple Crostata with Grappa Sauce.
