The Downer Party
They're young and have the feel good party indie rock vibe. Lead singer Sierra also did vox for Elephone and she's well on her way to holding the torch as San Francisco's premiere female rocker to watch catapult to international celebrity.
I've been on their MySpace page before when they had a hilarious song about Mission District hipsters celebrating Christmas, which I hope will be added again during the 2009 holidays.
They have a release coming out on April 14th which includes a show at Bottom of the Hill."
