Description

THE CRANE AND THE CROCODILE is new collaborative dance theater. Through deep somatic investigation, absurdist comedy, and athletic dance, two women explore bravery and brutality in nature, do things they’re bad at, wear uncomfortable clothing, tell each other what to do, listen to radio news and instructional tapes, host sing-a-longs, defy cynicism and dance.

The evening will also include a dance-study-in-progress of Jorge De Hoyos' DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL, exploring sense of home in a globalizing world.
