Join us for the second gathering of The Commons at St. James Park on October 24th at 6pm!We have an exciting lineup that promises to be just as exciting as our last round.
Hosted by Santa Clara County Poet Laureate - David Perez and featuring:
Violinist Ilana Blumberg Thomas will be showcasing her virtuostic chops as innovative choreographer and dancer Jenny Stulberg creates a spontaneous dance performance.
San Jose duo Dreams Of June will be taking the stage to present their own original concoction pop, alternative rock and soulful blues.
cellojoe the international bicycle touring vagabond troubadour cellist beatboxer will be looping and layering beatboxing beats (vocal percussion) and funky cello to form a rich soundscape for intelligent lyrics AND
Cello Joe will be leading our "Wall of Sound" improvisers into synchronized chaos as they show off their chops and lead each other down the rabbit hole of effects and amplification! If you've ever wondered what could happen when you give concert hall musicians with the finest skills a chance to shred, now is the chance to find out!
