Now in its tenth year, Silicon Valley Reads presents an Author Talk with Willow Wilson, author of "The Butterfly Mosque." This charming memoir recounts Willow Wilson's challenge to reconcile her American upbringing with her experiences working at an English-language school in Cairo. Her exposure to Muslim culture would eventually lead her to don the traditional headscarf and embrace the ways of Islam. Now, Willow Wilson will discuss her book and answer questions about being a Muslim and American. This discussion will also be moderated by Los Altos Mayor Val Carpenter.
