Description
The BlowUpDollz, a local punk rock female band, will be performing their last show at The XBar at Homestead Lanes. They will be joined by local bands Drop Dead Sixty, Skyway View, and Till I Fall.The BlowUpDollz compare their sound to Joan Jett and Garbage. The band’s debut, Ms. Conduct, was released in 2009. Their current lineup is comprised of the names Fisty Pyxx (Guitar/Vocals), Razz Taztic (Electric Violin/Vocals), Taxi Teaze (Bass/ Back Up Vocals), and Heddy Vodd (Drums). Their last show is taking place due to milestone changes in each of the members' lives.
Drop Dead Sixty is an alternative rock band based in San Jose. They are currently waiting to release a new album in this year. They have one current single out, titled 'Mediatic'. Their sound is modeled after bands similar to Queens of the Stone Age.
Skyway View is an ambient rock band from San Jose. They have a new CD out, titled Under The Digital Sky.
Till I Fall, a San Jose alternative pop rock group, is returning from a month long tour for this show. The band first started in October 2010.Their first EP, Let It Go, was released May 2011. Their current lineup consists of Brandon Leland (Guitar/Vocals), Mike Alexander (Bass), Payam Barghi (Drums), Jason Perry (Guitar).
