Description

On Saturday, March 21st, bay area musician Chris Anthony will attempt to break the Guinness World Record(TM) for the longest individual drum roll during the charity event “The Beat Rolls On!“ in San Carlos. Following his record breaking attempt, Chris will lead percussionists, music students and amateurs drummers in a public Drumming for Dollars event to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Northern California Chapter. Sponsored in part by Gelb Music, the day’s activities include a silent auction and ticket raffles to win valuable prizes.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Approximately 400,000 Americans have MS, and every week about 200 people are diagnosed. The Beat Rolls On takes place during National MS Education and Awareness Month, an effort by the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation to raise public awareness of multiple sclerosis.
