The Ballroom & Dining Room series is back by popular demand

Guests are Invited to Slip on Their Dancing Shoes and Work up an Appetite for a Special Seasonal Prix Fixe Menu

The Tavern at Lark Creek announces the return of the Ballroom & Dining Room series, to be held in restaurant’s Sun Room the second Monday of every month, beginning January 9, 2012. The evening will kick off with an optional happy hour in the bar at 6:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., one of Marin’s most talented dance instructors, Mark Novak of Bay West Ballroom, will offer one-hour dance lessons followed by a special three-course menu created by Chef Aaron Wright.

The schedule for Ballroom & Dining Room at The Tavern is as follows:

January 9—Salsa
February 13—Cha Cha
March 12—Tango
April 9—Swing

The Ballroom & Dining Room menu will feature seasonal favorites and will consist of three courses, with two options for each course. Dishes may include:

• Roasted Baby Winter Vegetables with parsley, feta cheese and white balsamic
• Pear and Goat Cheese Salad with bibb lettuce, honey lavender almonds, and huckleberry vinaigrette
• Pumpkin Braised Short Rib with sweet onion, polenta, sugar pumpkin, and winter vegetable salad
• Flat Iron Steak with grilled broccolini and whipped potatoes
• Warm Chocolate Brownie Cobbler served with cocoa nib ice cream
• Apple Cranberry Crisp with vanilla bean ice cream
