Description
Collage unifies fragments of color, images and texture into a cohesive new whole. This two-day workshop is a hands-on exploration of the qualities that make collage a unique, poetic and powerful medium. We will explore the assembly and reassembly of forms, materials, colors, textures and imagery that make collage a remarkably individual medium. Technical matters will be addressed as will the origins and development of collage. The workshop is designed specifically to define and advance each individual’s personal interest in visual art. Participants interested in using collage linked to creative potentials in their practice of drawing and painting are encouraged to do so.2-days: July 28th to 29th
