About
Owned and operated by Not Quite Opera Productions, Inc. (an IRS 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization), The Alcove Theater is a 49-patron, flexible performance space, with six cabaret tables for “premium” seating. We have a raised partially curved thrust-style stage (24′ x 12′), with a dressing room stage left. We have a 24 channel (48 channel XY) DMX dimmer system connected to 16 LED Par 64 fixtures and 8 60-watt tungsten mini-pars on a 1-1/2″ pipe rig. There is a 6 channel stereo audio mixer, a 5.1 sound amplifier and a 5-speaker system. We also have XVGA projectors and other video equipment to rent.
