Description

The San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles celebrates 25th anniversary of The AIDS Memorial Quilt with their AIDS Quilt Interactive exhibition. As part of their 2nd International TECHstyle Art Biennial, this display features a 42-inch interactive touchscreen tabletop that allows guests to search through and examine detailed individual images from the 1.3 million square feet of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. Anne Balsamo and Dale MacDonald from USC's Annenberg Innovation Lab, as well as and Scott Minneman from Onomy Labs, Inc. conceived and implemented this unique installation which utilizes a Microsoft PixelSense interactive display.
