The paths of Aceyalone and Abstract Rude have crossed so many times over the years that their legacies as the collective soul of the L.A. underground hip-hop movement have completely intertwined at this point. They were in Haiku D'Etat together, and of course they're both all over that landmark first Project Blowed CD. Between them, they've dropped some of alt-hip-hop's best lines ever, and their best collaborations were on their A-Team stuff. They haven't recorded as the A-Team in years, but since they seem to bring out the best in each other, it's great to see them back on the road with their classic project.
