Description
The 6th Annual Wheels for Meals Ride on October 18, 2014 is a cycling event in the beautiful Livermore Valley benefiting Alameda County Meals on Wheels. With three routes to choose from, we have something for all levels:•A family friendly 15 mile route, great for kids and beginners
•A 35 mile route for those who are looking for more of a challenge
•Our 70 mile (metric century) route is strenuous with steep climbs and fast descents, perfect end of season ride for the serious cyclist
Registration includes: Ride support and SAG vehicles, well stocked rest stops, and an excellent post-ride barbecue lunch with music, booths, and refreshments!
Alameda County Meals on Wheels supports the delivery of over 2,000 meals to homebound seniors every weekday across the county. The Wheels for Meals Ride raises money through registration and rider fundraising. We offer incentives for those who choose to fundraise, and a grand prize for the rider or volunteer who raises the most!
