The Rio Theatre hosts its 4th annual Young Performers Showcase. Featuring a bevy of young local musicians, singers, dancers and more, there is sure to be something for everybody to enjoy. This year's line-up includes singer/songwriter Bridget Johnson; the Soquel High School Jazz Chorus; Polynesian dancers Te Hau Nui; the Jackie Rocks Band; ballerina Corinne Sampson; the Cameron Smith Jazz Quartet; the bluegrass band Them Boys; and featured guest, Grammy-nominated recording artist, Tammi Brown. Also, the SCHS Drumline will be on hand as the opening act and there will be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction with valuable and desirable items. See website for more details.
