The Junior League of San Jose is thrilled to be hosting the 43rd Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon (VRL). We have received nominations from nonprofit agencies throughout Santa Clara County who have nominated their outstanding volunteers. VRL recognizes over 100 wonderful volunteers annually, and is attended by over 700 guests. Join JLSJ and NBC Bay Area Anchor Laura Garcia-Cannon as we honor 14 of the Bay Area's most outstanding and passionate volunteers!The Junior League of San Jose (JLSJ) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism,
developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and
leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The League is comprised of almost 800 women who annually contribute over 27,000 hours of member
volunteer service time. During its 45 year history, JLSJ has given over $5 million to the community and
almost 700,000 hours of volunteer service. JLSJ is one of 292 Junior Leagues in the Association of Junior
Leagues International (AJLI).
