Contorted Records hosts a metal show featuring Bay Area metal bands, Thares, A Thousand Shall Fall, Section 5150, and Montra, joined by Warcorpse (Watsonville).Thares is a speed power Spanish metal band from San Jose. Two of their biggest influences are Helloween and Iron Maiden. They will be the headliners for this show.
A Thousand Shall Fall, from Santa Cruz, is a metal band that takes their influences from As I Lay Dying and All That Remains. The band first started out as a duo between Kevin Loftus and Dhruva Noel in 2010 but has since grown into a 5 piece band.
Section 5150, from San Jose, is a thrash band. They have previously played many shows at South First Billiards. They are now playing with more metal bands than ever before. They released their debut album, Bide Your Time, last year.
