Description
Hailing from Berkeley, Testament rose to prominence during the 1980s San Francisco thrash metal scene. After signing to major label Atlantic Records in 1986, the group has become one of the most influential heavy metal bands of the era, and has since released nine studio albums, four live albums, six compilation albums, and six singles. They have had several lineup changes of the years, but they are now back with original members Chuck Billy, Eric Peterson, Alex Skolnick, and Greg Christian.
