From ecstatic bebop to Latin swagger, electric guitarist and jazz polyglot Terrence Brewer leads his all-star quintet in renditions of works from his highly acclaimed eight-album oeuvre.The award-winning guitarist is an in-demand bandleader, record producer, concert performer, studio musician and educator. He has produced and released eight nationally-acclaimed albums on his own record label and performed to sold-out crowds at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Yoshi’s, and the SFJAZZ Jazz Festival.
Brewer has been recognized with the SF Weekly Music Award for Best Jazz Artist, Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Artist of the Year, and the Bay Area Blues Society “Best Jazz Group” Award. In 2007, the San Francisco Chronicle included Brewer in a short list of “whom to stalk” in Bay Area jazz.
