Blanchard paid his dues early on as a Jazz Messenger with Art Blakey. That tenure laid the foundation for twenty-odd recordings as leader, culminating in a series of acclaimed releases for Blue Note Records, including the 2008 Grammy winner Tale of God's Will: A Requiem for Katrina. Blanchard’s set list, post-modern compositions highlighting the strengths of each and every band member makes for an especially rewarding experience to all fortunate enough to witness the group in a live setting. This tour supports a brand new release entitled Choices (2009).
