Taste of Mendocino 2014 at Presidio’s Golden Gate Club

Every June, Mendocino makes its way to San Francisco to share sips and swigs from ‘America’s Greenest Wine Region’ with the Bay Area. On June 10, 2014 from 5 – 7 p.m., oenophiles will descend upon the Presidio Golden Gate Club for the fourth annual Taste of Mendocino event – an intimate wine event hosted by Mendocino Winegrowers Inc. and Visit Mendocino County, showcasing all the people and products that make the region such a special destination for outstanding wines.

The event will feature tastings from over 40 county wineries, including Navarro Vineyards, Parducci Wine Cellars, BARRA of Mendocino, Bink Wines, and Handley Cellars, with the opportunity to purchase wines to fill the slots on your wine lists and holes in your wine cellar.

The samplings don’t stop with wine at Taste of Mendocino. As the county’s bounty extends beyond world-class sips, the event invites guests to meet the people behind some of the best inns, olive oils, museums and excursions from all over the county. Representatives from area favorite attractions including the Skunk Train, Kemmy’s Pies, Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, Stella Cadente Olive Oil, Assaggiare Mendocino, Visit Ukiah, and the Yorkville Highlands will be on hand to share their stories and samples with curious potential travelers.
