June's North Beach First Friday art night at Sweeties is a special night highlighting the work of photographer Samantha Cooper.The Opening Reception will be held in Sweeties' Large Gallery from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7. And music will accent the evening.
Imagine what it’s like to savor your favorite food and that is how Samantha approaches photography: small, unforgettable bites of moments that provoke thoughts and bring you to different places. Whether it’s capturing the world around her or creating her own, she finds inspiration in strong women, dance, eroticism, and good food.
Samantha will be joined by singer/songwriter/pianist and producer Seapora. An eclectic musical artist, Seapora has been devoted to creating upbeat ethereal and heart pounding music. Her music creates a fusion between the industrial, fast moving city culture and the natural, organically infused West Coast.
