Get ready for a fun day of tamale making and tequila tasting with Darlene Tenes of CasaQ and Chef Carlos Perez. First you’ll get a taste of an authentic tamale while we share the history behind these ancient foods and teach you how to prepare the masa and the fillings. Then you and your classmates will create a family-style assembly line to learn how to properly wrap and fold the tamales. A tequila expert will follow and you‘ll get a tasting of Chef Carlos’ “Chupitos” a concoction of agua frescas & tequila. Yum!Price includes:
