The Jewish theater, born in 1876, reached its zenith with the Hebrew-speaking Habimah’s spectacular production of The Dybbuk in 1922. Dr. Donny Inbar, Director for Arts and Culture at the Israel Center, will discuss how this remarkable play about the mystic world of the shtetl turned into the most spectacular offspring of a young secular Jewish theater.More Info
