No stranger to surf music, Santa Cruz has a long history of appreciation for the instrumental, guitar-driven sound that defines classic surf culture. And rockabilly? Walk down any street in town and you'll see tributes a-plenty (pompadours, cuffed jeans, pocket bandanas, etc.) to rock & roll's elder sibling. This weekend, three of the area's finest surf- and rockabillly-inspired bands are celebrating the place where the two genres collide with a Surfabilly Rock Jamboree. Featuring the Concaves, the Parafins and Los High Tops, the evening promises to be a rockin', reverb-y good time.
