On Saturday, October 13th, catch the kick-off of the 2012 Dodge Million Dollar Challenge, where a variety of inspiring challenged athletes, passionate executives and celebrity supporters will take part in an epic week long 620-mile cycling journey along the California coastline.Not your typical event, the inspirational and motivational Dodge Million Dollar Challenge raises a minimum donation of $10,000 per participating rider. In 2012, the Dodge brand is proud to sponsor hand cyclists which include their very own Chrysler Group LLC employee and paraplegic Marc Henretta, and Huntington Beach native and quadriplegic, Sean Simonson.
Participants will ride out at 7:30am from Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco and complete the challenge the evening of Friday, October 19th when they reach their final destination of Kellogg Park on the shore of La Jolla Beach.
