Description

Founded in 2009, Sun Hop Fat reinterprets and creates original songs in the spirit of 1970’s Ethiopian jazz and groove. The ten-piece band has brought a dance party to venues and festivals throughout the West Coast. Sun Hop Fat’s music is at once familiar and yet haunting, the mysterious psychedelic sounds are awash with joy, temptation, and freedom.
