SUNDAY 8-9-09 - w. RUSSELL VARGAS & LINDEN CStuck trying to think where to go on a sunny Sunday afternoon? Not anymore. From now until the end of Indian Summer (first part of October), Mars Bar is open from 1pm until sundown (830 – 930pm as the days get longer).
Famous for their outdoor garden patio (and not to mention their huge overhead heaters), folks can sit, enjoy the sunshine, order specialty blender drinks from the outdoor tiki bar, play pool, watch the game, while the goovin’ tunes move anywhere from reggae & samba to uplifting house to classic disco and soul.
Come for a late lunch as their kitchen serves from 3pm – 7pm. – try their famous burgers, addictive fries, fresh salads, and other dishes. Stay longer for more bloody marys, cold pints, blender specialty cocktails, and mojitos. With a friendly staff and solid drinks (no jiggers here) it's the spot to be!
