Tin Barn Vineyards presents the 2011 "Joon" Rose of Syrah Sonoma Coast, Coryelle Fields. Join us on the brightest day of the year to celebrate this very special new release!Anyone familiar with our winery knows that we have a true affinity for our namesake vineyard on Tin Barn Road. Sprawling amid ten windswept acres on the Sonoma Coast, the wild and remote Coryelle Fields Vineyard epitomizes winemaker Michael Lancaster's tendency to deviate from the beaten path. Since our company's inception in 2000, Michael has been sourcing cool climate Syrah from the site. Last year, he decided to try something a little different--Rose of Syrah.
Tin Barn Vineyards 2011 "Joon" Rose of Syrah is the first rose our winery has made. We offer it as a refreshing yet complex complement to our fuller bodied red wines. On June 20th—yes, that's Summer Solstice—we'll be sharing this new wine under the open sky with a winemaker dinner on the patio at Estate Restaurant in Sonoma. Join us for a sumptuous, locally sourced meal hosted by winemaker Michael Lancaster and the crew at Tin Barn Vineyards.
