Splatterbeast may sound like an Accused tribute band, but it's actually the handle of San Jose's premier horror-inspired artist. There's a YouTube video that tours this guy's house, and for horror geeks, it's no less than jaw-dropping. Not only do Jason, Leatherface et al. play a central paint in his sometimes downright disturbing paintings, but his house is a shrine to the horror genre, from the Last House on the Left and Combat Shock posters to the life-sized zombie mannequins. He's one of the artists featured at On the Corner's Summer Bummer shindig, along with Jose Angeles, Mark Martinez, Sonja Caldwell, Nate Byrne, Anthony Barbaria and more. Funky music will be provided by Taran and Overflo, and what would a summer party be without hot dogs and sodees?
