The Bay Area Suicide & Crisis Intervention Alliance (BASCIA) will host a regional meeting of the State Suicide PreventionNetwork. Joining us as co-sponsors will be:
• San Francisco Suicide Prevention
• San Francisco Mental Health Education Fund
• NAMI San Francisco
This meeting will present current best practices in suicide prevention, and feature a unique set of discussion groups to
ensure you better understand suicide prevention challenges and sharpen your skills in suicide prevention.
We’ll welcome staff and volunteers in schools, workplaces, youth, ethnic and LGBTQ community groups, religious organizations
and first responders. In addition, providers in mental health and primary care, the military and VA are invited, as well as mental
health and suicide prevention advocates.
The meeting will provide you with the most recent information for reducing suicide and connecting with resources.
And it will allow you to network with others active in suicide prevention.
