The free orientation gives you a chance to learn about MBSR, explore whether it is right for you, meet the course instructor, enroll in the course if you would like to, and experience, first-hand, some mindfulness methods and approaches you will be learning during the program.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) can help you cultivate a more creative relationship with the challenges in your life, relying completely upon the capacity for awareness you already have. Among its many health benefits, MBSR lowers blood pressure and speeds the healing process. Recent studies even suggest that meditation practice may offset changes in the brain caused by aging. It is a clinically proven method for diminishing stress and its side effects.

Most people completing MBSR courses report lasting benefits, such as:
