Tandem storytellers Linda Kennedy & Joan McCammon offer a lively show blending stories, music, movement, audience participation, and lots of laughter.The Menlo Park Library is holding a month-long celebration of the oral tradition, with a Storytelling Festival featuring an array of professional tellers over the course of seven different events. On November 27, the headlining team is the “Do-Tell Duo,” telling tales in tandem (two storytellers sharing one story).
Linda Kennedy has been telling stories for 30 years. Her repertoire includes folk tales, fairy tells, and personal stories, all aimed to take the imaginations of audience members to places and times of wonder, humor, peace, and justice. Linda is a volunteer storyteller for the Women’s Empowerment Program in Sacramento, where she uses stories to open up conversations with previously-homeless women as they make their way to a successful life.
