Sendak and the art of getting wild! Six award-winning Bay Area children's book author/illustrators meet to discuss the powerful influence that Maurice Sendak had on their work and on the genre of children's literature at The Walt Disney Family Museum on Saturday, June 1, from 3-4:30pm in the Museum Theater. Open to the public and offered in conjunction with the new exhibition, "Maurice Sendak: 50 Years; 50 Works; 50 Reasons," this feature program titled "Stealing from Sendak" gives audience members a chance to hear local artists and writers talk about the impact that this master had on their craft.
